Starting in February 2018, OCD Georgia will host a monthly OCD Advocacy Group in Atlanta (one Tuesday each month, from 7:15-8:30p). This group is open to everyone, and is primarily composed of individuals with OCD, family members and friends, treatment providers, and volunteers. We participate in large-scale projects with the International OCD Foundation, collaborate with IOCDF affiliates across the United States, and engage in advocacy for the mental health needs of individuals with OCD and related disorders at our local and state level.

We are committed to educating the public about OCD and related disorders, fighting prejudice and stigma, increasing the number of knowledgeable providers in Georgia, and increasing the accessibility of effective treatment in the southeast. Monthly meetings include discussion of ongoing initiatives and development of new projects. Members are welcome to participate by phone or join us in person.

Please email Jordan.cattie@ocdgeorgia.org for the updated meeting schedule and call-in information.
