Dr. Josh Spitalnick is a Board Member for OCD Georgia. He received a Masters degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College and a Masters and PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Georgia. In 2013, he completed the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) program offered by the IOCDF and also became Board Certified (ABPP) in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology. Dr. Spitalnick is the Practice Owner of Spitalnick & Associates, a CBT-based outpatient clinic in Dunwoody, specializing in the treating of OCD, Anxiety, and Mood Disorders. As an OCD/ERP therapist, Dr. Spitalnick treats all OCD spectrum disorders with a subspecialty in Pure O and Harm-related OCD. Dr. Spitalnick remains active in the scientific community with regards to OCD spectrum disorders, dissemination of evidence-based interventions, and evaluation of healthcare-related technologies, having been a PI or co-Investigator for over 15 federally-funded studies.
