second Sunday each month
The OCD Georgia Peer Group is a supportive community of people with lived experience with OCD. We get together socially once each month and enjoy doing a range of activities together. We don't talk about OCD the whole time or even much at all, but there is something powerful about forming friendships with other people who 'get it.' We stay connected in between meetings through our GroupMe chat. Interested in joining us? Email email@example.com to find out more.
third Tuesday each month
Since 2018, OCD Georgia has hosted a monthly OCD Advocacy Group (third Tuesday each month, from 7:00-8:15p). Our group is open to anyone who is interested in helping others. Our projects typically focus on building community and support locally, educating the public about OCD and related disorders, fighting stigma, increasing the number of knowledgeable mental health providers in Georgia, and increasing the accessibility of effective treatment in the southeast.
